I wish I could answer those kinds of questions myself. I think one thing to keep in mind—for me at least—is to keep my focus on Jesus. Whenever I take my eyes off of Him, that's when I falter.

It's really so easy to do. There are so many things that can get my attention. Money, success, popularity, security, the list goes on.

I have to know my areas of weakness, those places where I am easily tempted, and give those over to the Lord.

I have had one question on my heart - "Why?" why would he do this? I am actually very interested in why, not because of a need to know details but because it worries me as a minister. What can I learn from this?

I completely agree. To me, this is where being angry and not sinner can be actively applied. Am I angry about this situation? Yes. Am I going to call that Mike be hung out and left for dead? Absolutely not.

Exactly...perfect words...

for me it comes to this..yes we need to be angry, but what sets us apart is the grace we have to offer. The reasons why chritianity gets a bad rap is because we dont usually extend that grace.
